Introducing Laurel’s Woodlings

We’re beyond excited to share some wonderful news — Laurel’s Woodlings has officially begun!

Laurel’s Woodlings is our brand-new woodland playgroup for children under 6, designed to give children the chance to connect with nature, discover their independence, and, of course, have lots of muddy fun along the way.

Led by our experienced Primary Teacher/Woodland Skills Leader, Lucy and Forest School leader, Ceara each 75-minute session blends Forest School leader-led activities — like nature crafts, tool use, games, songs, and storytelling — with plenty of free play in our magical woodland playground. From the treetop house and climbing frames to the mud kitchen and swings, every corner of Laurel’s Wood is an adventure waiting to be had.

But Woodlings isn’t just for the little ones. We know how tough the early years can be, so we’ve created a welcoming, supportive space for parents and carers too. Come rain or shine, you’ll find cosy corners, a friendly atmosphere, and even a cuppa to enjoy while your children explore.

Our vision for Woodlings is simple: to nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence in a safe, natural environment — and to bring families together through the joy of outdoor play.
